Princess Warrior-type Post to Share

I just finished reading a very good blog post over on the Lies Young Women Believe blog that deals with us going to battle with courage throughout this new year :) It made me think of how I want to be as, yes, a Princess, a daughter of God, but also His warrior, and not cowering in terror with the new fears and hard situations that 2015 might bring! I spent most of 2014 not being a good soldier, and by God's grace, I'd like to do better this year.
Anyway, I'm sharing the link to this post in hopes that it will encourage your Princess Warrior heart as well :) Hope you enjoy it and are as inspired by it as I was.

  2. Oh my word, this is crazy. I have recently been preparing and fundraising for a month-and-a-half missions trip to Zambia and South Africa this upcoming summer. And, of course, I am constantly reminded by family, friends, random people, the news, media, etc... how messed up and scary the world is right now. Fear often tries to penetrate the walls I have put up protecting my thoughts of safety on the trip. Ever since this started God keeps showing me this phrase/ passage (Be strong and courageous; Joshua 1:9). It's popping up EVERYWHERE, and it just did again in this post. It's definitely what I call a God-thing. I still can't get over how cool this is. Loved the post!

  3. Father God, I thank you that Perfect Love casts out all fear. Jesus you are perfect love. I pray that Katie will be focused on you and your Word this coming year. Please help her to be drawn to the Bible and to understand what she's reading so that she will recognize your voice as you lead her. Bless her and her family. I ask it in Jesus' Name. Amen

    Katie,
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you no matter what!
    Blessings,
    Laura of Harvest Lane Cottage
